Theatre Work

Joe began his work as Musical Director in 2008 at Pershore’s Number 8 Theatre with a run of Kiss me Kate with the resident group, PODS.  Other highlights here were a NODA nomination for West Side Story in 2010 and a NODA win in 2012 with The Secret Garden.  A move closer to home saw Joe become the resident MD for Redditch Operatic Society in 2013 with another Noda nomination for Whistle Down the Wind, and a Noda win with Jesus Christ Superstar in 2014.  A handful of shows with Alcester MTC and Dynamik followed this alongside more shows with ROS, leading to more NODA nominations for Witches of Eastwick and White Christmas.  2019 brought yet another NODA success with Cats!  2023 had another NODA nomination for Evita and the show for 2024 is lined up to be The Hunchback of Notre Dame!
