Jazz Quintet

'Swing Through' are an exciting jazz quintet offering a wonderful evening’s entertainment. The music pays homage to the swing giants of the Big Band era such as Count Basie and Duke Ellington and also encompasses the wonderful lyrical writing of George Gershwin and Cole Porter. A standard set may include soulful, bluesy classics like The Nearness of You and At Last; dynamic, passionate numbers such as Cry Me a River and Love Me Like a Man; and some up-tempo, toe-tapping, feel-good tracks like Fly Me to the Moon, Mack the Knife and Cheek to Cheek.

The group has that quintessential blend of great repertoire, sparkling talent and thoroughly engaging performances. Joe on keys is hugely experienced and versatile with real flair and skill. Colette on vocals is equally experienced and has a wonderfully warm yet stunning voice. James on drums and Jadie on bass are both smooth and classy performers while Sam on sax brings real depth and colour to the ensemble.

For a smaller event, the group can be arranged as a trio or quartet but if you want to make a real splash then go grab the full band!
